akhikaru 's fault, and also learashi , with their prompt tables and awesome drabble series <3 I've decided to treat this like a challenge. I'm using a prompt-table from lj, and will write these drabbles as they come to my mind, withoug planning anything in advance. Sho throws his hands into the air. “Why!?” he exclaims. “Why do you have to be such a clumsy idiot? Can’t you do anything right!?”
“I’m sorry, Sakurai-senpai,” Jun stutters. He just can’t do anything right, it’s always been like that. Why? Why the hell can’t he do anything?
Sho crosses his arms in front of his body. “I really hate guys like you,” he huffs. “You apologize for everything and have no confidence at all.”
Sho’s words hit him hard. He and Satoshi-san are his favourite senpais here. He knows Sho has a bad temper and all, but he is also very smart and skilled, and he picked Jun to assist him for the upcoming important school projects. It’s a collaboration the school wants the older students to do with the younger ones. Choose one of the first graders for school projects and become some sort of mentor for them. Both Satoshi and Sho chose him, out of all the other first-graders who are a lot prettier, smarter and more talented than he is.
Jun feels tears stinging in his eyes, but he is scared it will piss Sho off even more if he cries in front of him. Like he is asking for pity. “I have to leave earlier today,” Jun manages to breath out, grabbing his bag and rushing out of the room.
He has just reached the staircase when Sho catches up to him. The latter grabs his arm and holds him back. Jun feels angry at himself, he wasn’t fast enough and now Sho-senpai will see how he cries.
To his surprise though Sho doesn’t look angry, he just looks guilty. “I…” Sho looks away, looking embarrassed. “I said I hate guys like you. But…” he coughs. “I don’t hate you.”
Jun stares at Sho in surprise, trying to decipher his words. “That doesn’t make any sense,” he stutters helplessly.
Sho just hugs him swiftly, before he lets him go again, suddenly looking embarrassed. It’s almost cute. “It’s just… I don’t hate you, okay? Now let’s go back to work.”
Jun nods in awe while he follows Sho back to the classroom. If Sho-senpai doesn’t hate him, does that mean he actually likes him… at least a bit?
