Summary: Being a privileged boy out of a rich family doesn’t mean you get more love. Kame knows that just too well. All day long he fights against this monster called loneliness, until a new boy joins his class. He is coming out of a different background and just as lonely as he is.
Kame fights against the feelings that are awakening inside him, not able to trust anyone around him. But then he starts to get strange anonymous messages, his heart warming up towards a person he doesn’t even know…and to this strange boy in his class.
Dedicated to:

You would cry for me? Haha, you don’t even know who I am. You are stupid.
Maybe I am stupid, but right now I am also happy. So…who are you?
Ryo blinked in surprise when he found Kame sitting in the kitchen as he wanted to leave for school. “Kazuya-kun?”
“He came to pick you up.” Yoko explained non-chalantly, forcing a plate with toast and ham into Ryo's hand. “Here, your breakfast.”
“I'm not hungry!” Ryo complained.
Yoko frowned. “You are never hungry!” he argued. “So better eat this now, otherwise you might get into troubles with me.”
Ryo glared at him. “You are stricter than a father would be... Aren't you supposed to be young and fresh yourself?”
“Eat your breakfast, mouthy brat!” Yoko interrupted him.
Kame had to giggle, wondering if it was possible that anyone could be cuter than Ryo when looking grumpy. Besides that he totally realized it now... these two didn't have any erotic chemistry at all, they were just like brothers.
Ryo blushed slightly when he saw Kame’s smile. “Why are you here again?” he asked, trying to sound as polite as possible, since Yoko was standing right next to him now.
Kame grinned at that, slowly starting to get used to Ryo’s lack of ability to express himself. “I wanted to pick you up.”
“Eh?” Ryo blinked. “Why?”
Kame seriously had to fight a blush at this question. “Because…” he stuttered. “One can’t let you alone… so I need to watch out for you.”
Ryo frowned. “I can watch out for my own,” he argued.
Yoko bit down on his lips to hide his grin. It was so obvious what Kame wanted and why he was here. “Well, maybe you could watch out for each other?” he suggested, twinkling a bit towards Kame.
Kame smiled at that, nodding his head. “Sure, we could do that, right Ryo-kun?”
The latter blinked. “Sure…”
“Great!” Yoko grabbed a bento box, giving it to Ryo, then he pushed both boys out of the door. “Have fun, you two! Just one thing…” He raised his index finger to pretend that he was making an important point here. “Nothing pervy!”
Kame blushed deeply at that, while Ryo merely glared at Yoko, not even answering his last statement. He just grabbed Kame’s hand, pulling him along. Kame blinked when he realized that Ryo had grabbed his hand in the heat of the moment, most likely without even realizing it. He smiled and paused all of sudden, grinning when Ryo blinked in confusion. When Ryo realized that he was still holding Kame’s hand, he blushed deeply, wanting to pull his hand away, but Kame didn’t let him. He tightened his grip around Ryo’s hand, pulling him closer, his free hand wandering over Ryo’s face for a moment, then he bent forward, placing a shy kiss on the other’s lips.
Ryo startled, too surprised by Kame’s sudden action, but when he saw the other’s flushed cheeks and felt his own heart hammering against his chest, he smiled brightly. For the first time since Kame had met Ryo, Ryo’s smile was real and shiny.
Kame’s body was flooded with happiness when he saw this smile, his hand moved over Ryo’s cheek once more before he grabbed the other’s face, pulling him into another, more confident kiss. It was his first time kissing someone and to his surprise it felt good. He didn’t feel like he failed at all. When he felt how Ryo’s arms wrapped around his waist, pulling their bodies closer, he shivered happily. Ryo’s lips tasted sweet and fresh, like the lemon tea he had just drunk before. Kame tightened his grip on Ryo’s shoulders, wanting to taste even more of the other. It still felt a bit awkward, but Kame thought that they were actually doing pretty well here. Unfortunately they had to draw apart for a moment to catch some air.
Kame smiled happily. “I love your flushed face,” he teased, mainly to diffuse his own embarrassment.
Ryo glared at that comment, turning around and away from Kame. “We’ll be late for school if we don’t hurry.”
Kame grinned, but when he saw how Ryo was really about to leave, he grabbed his sleeve, pulling him back.
“What?” Ryo blinked in surprise, when Kame forced him to turn around, kissing him heatedly once more. He smiled, feeling engulfed by Kame’s actions immediately, forgetting about his intention to leave. He simply leaned against the kiss, before they both drew apart again, remembering that they shouldn’t come too late to school
Ryo’s cheeks were flushed in joy when he let go of Kame’s shirt and angled for the other’s hand. “We should go now,” he muttered, trying to hide his embarrassment.

Jin looked at his friend suspiciously, inspecting his sparkling eyes and his blushed cheeks. “You look…”
“… a bit sick.” Uchi finished the other’s sentence. “Do you have a slight fever?”
Jun laughed at that, shaking his head. “Oh, I bet he is secretly fevering for something, right?” he paused. “Or for someone,” he added.
Uchi frowned. “What?”
“Man, are you slow,” Jin complained.
“I am not slow!!” Uchi argued, his cheeks flushing a bit, both in anger and embarrassment.
Jin grinned. “So if you aren’t slow, then tell me what I meant right before?”
Uchi blushed, shifting around. “I…” he felt his cheeks heating up even more before he jumped up, obviously upset. “I don’t know.” He almost yelled these words out. “Okay, maybe I am stupid…”
Jin blinked in surprise when the other out of the room, wincing a bit when he felt Jun’s glare at his back. He sighed. “Don’t say anything now…”
“You are quite mean recently,” Jun scolded his friend, ignoring the latter’s glare.
“I know, but something about him is just driving me nuts sometimes,” Jin tried to explain.
Pi rolled his eyes, before he pulled his eyebrow up “Yeah, maybe you are BOTH slow.”
“Whatever…” Jun frowned. “Just do something about it. Nothing new that he is upset, but I think he is really hurt this time…”
“I know,” Jin sighed, getting up. “I’ll be back in a second.”
“Some people really can’t be helped,” Jun joked, earning him a grin from Kame. “Talking about…” Jun continued. “What’s with your good mood?”
“Nothing in particular,” Kame shrugged, looking at his friend innocently.
“Yes,” Jun grinned. “And what about this very specific glances towards a certain pretty, dark-haired boy? And I’m not talking about myself here…”
Kame blushed even more. “Well…”
Jun laughed. “Just think properly before you answer this now.” He paused. “Jin saw you…”
“WHAT!?” Kame breathed out. “He saw what?” He blushed a bit at the thought of someone watching him and Ryo kiss.
Jun smirked. “So…there was something to watch?” he concluded.
Kame blinked in confusion, then his eyes sparkled angrily. “Jin didn’t see anything? Jun! This is not funny!”
“You totally fell for it,” Jun chuckled. “It’s okay though… But maybe you shouldn’t hide your beloved Ryo-kun. He might feel hurt if you do so…”
Kame wanted to answer something unfriendly to that, but then he frowned. Jun was right. He didn’t want to hide Ryo, he didn’t want to hurt him by pretending to not be close to him. At the same time he wasn’t sure if he would put Ryo under too much stress if he changed their plans. He sighed slightly, but when his eyes caught Ryo’s slender figure walking into the room, his decision was easily made. He smiled warmly, his heart jumping in delight when he waved at the other. “Come, sit with us Ryo-kun!”

It was two weeks later on a Saturday when Ryo and Kame spread a blanket on the beach, planning to enjoy the sunny day. It was unusually warm for this time of the year and they wanted to make use of that. Kame took his sweater off, lying down next to Ryo and nuzzling his nose into Ryo’s neck.
The latter giggled a bit. “What are you doing here?”
Kame smiled, placing a kiss against Ryo’s exposed neck. “I’m cuddling with you,” he explained randomly.
Ryo smiled happily at that. He enjoyed this situation so much that he totally forgot to be embarrassed. He angled for Kame’s hand, placing it on his stomach, his own hand above it. Kame bit his lips, hoping that he was reading Ryo’s signs correctly. When he started to move his hand over Ryo’s stomach, up to his chest, he sighed in relief, glad that the latter seemed to approve. Ryo’s hand stayed on his, only trembling slightly. If Kame had been less sensitive he wouldn’t even have noticed, but he was sensitive, especially when it was about Ryo. He paused for a moment but when he felt Ryo’s fingertips stroking over his hand now, without moving it away, he continued, wandering up to Ryo’s neck, over his cheek, down again, before he slipped his hand under Ryo’s shirt carefully.
Ryo blushed nervously but let Kame explore what he wanted to explore. His fingers on Ryo’s skin felt cold first but soon warmed up, making Ryo shiver slightly when they trailed his muscles, stroking his sides. He moved his hand away from Kame’s now and grabbed the latter’s neck to pull him down into a heated kiss.
Kame answered the kiss immediately, his body half-lying above Ryo’s now, while he used both hands to brush over Ryo’s sides, pushing his shirt up a bit and revealing some naked skin. Ryo’s hands were wrapped around his neck, his fingers playing with some strands of Kame’s hair, feeling its softness.
When Kame felt a certain exciting tugging in his stomach, he drew back a bit, sighing reluctantly. They were outside and though it wasn’t really cold, it also wasn’t that warm. Besides that he wanted to get close to Ryo properly, not that fast and especially not without lying in a bed. He smiled a bit when Ryo looked up at him, his eyes glancing warmly and a bit relieved.
Kame chuckled at that sight, bending down once more to kiss the other’s reddened lips again.

I’m just a normal boy. So, you found something that makes you feel happy?
On his way back Kame stopped at the little cottage, slipping into it to take a look at the note book. He smiled when he found an answer. He wanted to write back immediately, but a look at his watch told him that he should hurry home for now.
He closed the book again, deciding to come back tomorrow when he had more time. His heart was still feeling light because of his afternoon with Ryo, but when he reached his home, opening the door, he almost drew back. His eyes widened in shock, when he stared at his father, who was sitting on the sofa, his head buried in his hands. Kame’s heart clenched at that sight. Something was off, he felt it immediately.
“Dad…”
A/N: Sorry for the cliff-hanger! Actually I wanted to reveal what happened, but then I changed my plans. After all Ryo and Kame finally got closer and I wanted them to be happy at least for this chapter.
