You are right, it's not all in Jun's head (though to his father's defence, he rather meant Satoshi and Jun's feelings towards Satoshi), not everything. Jun really needs someone to help him, and a caring and straight-forward outsider like Sho (who also seems to already have feelings for him *coughs*) is perfect for that job, right?
