It’s 5PM when Kame finds the time to even look at his phone. Definitely too late for lunch. He types an answer immediately.

The answer comes at 1AM

Kame reads the last message at around 5AM, realizing he has been up all night to prepare for his new drama. He was at home, his phone literally next to him, yet he didn’t even take a look at it.

 

When was the last time he met Ryo also known as his boyfriend?

Can’t sleep

Can I drop by?

Aren’t you busy?

Kame doesn’t need any more encouragement than that. He swiftly grabs a few things, enough to stay for the whole next day and maybe an additional night, takes his laptop and work along and calls a taxi. Half an hour later he is at Ryo’s place. Gladly he has a pair of keys to his apartment, because once Ryo is asleep, he won’t just wake up easily.

 

Kame let’s himself in, silently closing the door again, putting his things aside and taking a shower in Ryo’s bathroom. He switches into his comfortable sweatpants and quietly searches for Ryo.

 

The latter is lying in his bed, apparently he even was too tired to take his blanket. Kame grabs the blanket, throwing it over his boyfriend before snuggling against him.

 

“Don’t tell me you have to get up early,” Ryo mumbles half-asleep.

 

Kame shakes his head. “Going to stay here the whole day.”

 

“Work?”

 

“Brought it along. Better work here with you around than not seeing you at all.”

 

Ryo nods. “We should really move in together.”

 

Kame blinks in surprise. He wants to ask Ryo more about how he thought this could work out but the latter is already dozing off again. Moving in with Ryo? Spending more time together? Yes, this sounds like something he would love to do. He smiles happily. “Yes,” he whispers. “Let’s move in together.”
