Okay… where the heck is he right now? Aiba is roaming through the forest since hours. He was sure it’s the right way, the one leading him back to his hotel, but somehow he seems to be stuck in the middle of a snow storm now, in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of… well, at least he knows he is still in Japan!

That’s something to hold on to! He is still in the same country, if he just walks for a while he for sure will find an actual road or a cottage or another person!

Just when Aiba is about to continue walking, with new-found motivation, he stumbles. It’s so dramatic that even he has problems wrapping his mind around it as he basically rolls down a whole hill, until he finally comes to a halt. He is almost entirely covered in snow, coughing, he has lost his gloves on the way and his scarf is wet. On top of that… Aiba gasps in pain when he tries to stand up.

Shit. His ankle. He probably twisted it. Aiba tries to take a few careful steps but it hurts so much he almost drops into the snow again.

“Are you alright?”

Aiba’s head snaps up. In the middle of the heavy snow storm he sees a slender figure. “Angel,” he mumbles before he drops into the snow again, feeling tired and drenched all of a sudden.

~~~
When Aiba opens his eyes again the angel has popped him up, freed him from all the additional snow and wrapped his own scarf around Aiba’s neck. Also Aiba is suddenly wearing gloves again. The angel has black hair and a pair of intense eyes which are clouded in worry now. “Are you okay? Does your head hurt?”
“The angel can talk,” Aiba mumbles.
The angel frowns. Weird, Aiba has always thought angels just have ethereal emotions, whatever that means. “I’m not an angel. I’m Jun!”
“Angel Jun,” Aiba repeats in his haze.
“Jeez,” the angle grumbles. To Aiba’s surprise he is suddenly tugging Aiba up to his feet and then forcing him to hold on to his neck, apparently planning on piggybacking him.
“I’m too heavy,” Aiba complains.
“Did you already forget?” the angel looks back with a smirk. “I’m an angel, hence I’m strong enough to carry you.”
Makes sense. “Oh, right.”
~~~

Aiba doesn’t know how long they are walking, or rather how long his angel is walking, he just knows that at one point he falls asleep again, exhausted from the hours he was running through the forest looking for his way, and exhausted from the cold and snow.

When he wakes up again he is in a warm room, lying in a bed. His head feels hot. “You are awake,” a voice can be heard. Aiba shifts his head, eyeing the man in front of him. He is pretty slim, but looks surprisingly strong, edgy face, dark beautiful eyes. Aiba blinks. Wait a moment. “You are my angel!”

The man grunts. “Not that again!”

Aiba blushes. “So I didn’t dream? You are the one who saved me?” He frowns, trying to remember. “Jun-san, was it?”

The man nods with a smile.

Aiba feels tears prickling in his eyes. “Thank you,” he whispers, suddenly realizing how close it was that he would have frozen to death.

Jun hands him a cup with hot tea and rubs his back. “It’s alright, you are safe now,” he says softly. “You have a fever. Try to rest, okay?”

~~~
The next time Aiba wakes up he feels a lot better. Good enough to get up and take a few steps, and finally check his surroundings. It seems like they are in small cottage in the mountains. “Is this yours?” he asks curiously when he finds Jun in the cosy living room with a book in his hands.
“My parents’,” Jun explains, a frown of worry gracing his face. “You shouldn’t be up yet!”
Aiba sits down on the sofa as well. “God, my friends will probably go crazy in worry!” He has completely forgotten that he came here with Nino and Ohno, and they will probably both be-
“Don’t worry,” Jun interrupts his trails of thoughts. “I’m sorry… you know, I went through your wallet, but only to see who you are. I found your key card from your hotel. So, I told my brother-“
“Your brother?”
“Yes, Sho, he is here too. Normally there is a road leading up here, but we are completely snowed in at the moment. He took his skis and drove down to the town. You don’t need to worry about your friends.”
Aiba nods, finally feeling at ease. He snuggles against one of the pillows, carefully checking his saviour. What a beautiful and nice man.
Jun smile carefully. “Sho said he will send someone to pick us up as soon as possible. It almost stopped snowing, so I assume in two or three days someone will come. I hope you don’t mind that you have to stay here for a little longer?”
Aiba looks at Jun with a bright smile. “I don’t mind at all,” he says, feeling all fuzzy and warm all of a sudden. He is here with his angel after all.
