Beyond the night: Chapter 6
Title: Beyond the night: Chapter 6
Pairing: Sho/Jun/Ohno, obviously Aiba and Nino appear too. Jun needs his bf Nino so that they can bitch about their stupid mates. :D
Rating: NC-17, will contain lots of interesting stuff ;-)
Genre: romance, smut, vampire!AU, did I mention smut?
Plot: Sho and Satoshi, two high-ranked vampires and companions for years, miraculously share the same mate. One fateful night they meet Jun, a vampire who is rather new to this world. The soulmate bond between them immediatly binds the three of them to each other naturally. Jun is a young vampire, slightly overstrained with the sudden intense bond between them, his mates' protectiveness of him, with life as a vampire and with his body and senses still adapting to his new life. With Sho and Satoshi being old and skilled in comparison to him, he feels even more at a loss and wishes to find a place in this world too, to be on eye-level with them.
Note: This is a belated birthday present for my lovely learashi <3 This is late, I'm so sorry, but now that I have finished a few chapters, I think I can dare to start posting it ^^
When Jun’s mind clears up he finds himself right next to a dead bear, feeling dizzy, with Sho holding his head in his lap. Sho’s fingers brush his bangs aside, while he talks to him softly.
Jun bursts into tears, not caring if he looks pathetic or not. But Sho doesn’t get angry or laughs, he just hugs him tightly. “It’s okay, Jun, nothing happened. It’s okay.”
“Nothing is okay,” Jun mumbles into Sho’s shirt.
“Everything is okay,” Sho argues, fingers touching Jun’s hair softly. “Nothing happened. Nino-kun and you reacted fast. It’s my fault, I wasn’t careful enough. I should have known that the last time you had blood was too long ago.”
“Don’t turn this into your fault,” Jun grumbles, feeling instantly annoyed.
“But it is!” Sho argues. “I forgot that the time spawn you need blood is shorter than mine. It will get longer the older you are, I promise.”
“Just imagine all the people in the club Nino and I went to, and then on the street…”
“Jun, going through what if scenarios isn’t going to help,” Sho says softly. “Besides I’m always here to save you from troubles. We share a bond, don’t we? I knew something was off and was running towards you far before the both of you even reached home.”
“Really?” Jun asks, careful interest sparking inside him.
“Yes.”
“Would it also work the other way?”
Sho chuckles. “Of course.”
“I miss Satoshi,” Jun suddenly hears himself say, his heart feeling heavy.
Sho kisses his hair. “Me too. But I have good news…”
“Good news?” Jun asks curiously.
“He will come back on Friday,” Sho says, sounding genuinely happy. “He just told me. He can come back earlier than he thought he would.”
Jun’s mood lights up almost instantly. “Is this true?”
Sho smiles. “He said, he missed you so much he tried his hardest to come back as fast as possible.”
Jun blushes. “Now you are lying.”
Sho chuckles. “We can go home, make ourselves comfortable and then we’ll call him so that you can see for yourself. So…” He lets his thumb brush over Jun’s cheek. “Are you ready to go home?”
“Well, I can’t stay here,” Jun says, though he wishes he could hide in a cave and never go out anymore. “And my shirt is stained from blood.”
“Does it help if I tell you that you looked hot while sucking the blood of a wild animal?” Sho asks almost innocently.
Jun frowns. “You are kidding?”
“No, you looked so wild and strong, it was really hot,” Sho explains much to Jun’s embarrassment.
Jun pouts. “Now you are being weird. Let’s go home.” Sho just chuckles, but readily gets up and follows Jun.
They almost reached the house when Jun suddenly wonders if Sho actually said all these things to distract Jun. To make him angry or annoyed or embarrassed… instead of being sad.
He sighs slightly. Great, now he feels bad again. He-
“Ah,” Sho says, turns around and puts his index finger on Jun’s lips. “No sad face or sounds anymore. That’s an order!”
“But you can’t order me not to be sad. Our bond doesn’t work like that, although you are older and stronger than I am. Or does it work?” Jun asks in both worry and curiosity.
“Oh dear,” Sho lets out a dramatic sigh, before nuzzling his nose against Jun’s. “Of course it does not work. And I would never use the power of our bond on you like that anyways. So,” he makes a stern face. “No being sulky or sad, or I might need to distract you with something else than just hot chocolate and a warm bath.”
Jun eyes Sho curiously. “Like how would you distract me?”
Sho reaches out his hand, his fingertips brushing over the spot right behind Jun’s ear, making him shiver slightly, then he bends forward, sucking at the little mole on his neck.
~~~
Jun looks at his reflection in the mirror, his body shivering with Sho’s cock throbbing inside him. Sho flashes him a glance through the reflection of the mirror, making Jun blush by how dark his eyes look. It feels weird to see Sho’s cock buried inside him like that. Jun is so concentrated just staring at their reflection and Sho’s body hovering above him, taking him from behind, that he didn’t expect Sho to suddenly start moving his hips. Sho’s hips snap forward firmly, making Jun gasp and moan at the same time.
A glint of red appears in Sho’s eyes. “If only,” Sho mumbles. “You would know what you do with my mind.”
Jun has never felt really confident about himself, not even with his appearance. He feels like his limbs are too long, his upper thighs too thick, his lips too plump, but the look of admiration and lust in Sho’s eyes make him suddenly feel a lot more confident.
He sits up slightly, Sho’s dick still buried inside him, his hands brushing over his chest, down to his nether regions. He strokes his dick slowly, staring into the mirror to catch Sho’s eyes like that. He continues to pleasure himself, his other free hand moving over his neck, before touching his nipples.
Sho growls, making Jun smirk. Their eyes meet through the reflection of the mirror. “Just wait,” Sho groans and Jun knows he is in for a good ride. He only realizes the truth behind his thoughts though when he suddenly finds himself being pushed down into the mattress again, his head pressed against the pillow. Sho has his right arm wrapped around Jun’s waist, pulling Jun’s hips up that way while snapping his own hips forward in a fast and strong rhythm.
Jun moans, his body feeling hot by being manhandled like that. He wants to touch himself, but he can’t find the strength to push himself up. His dick rubs against the mattress whenever Sho pushes into him though, producing an almost unbearable friction. Jun moans out Sho’s name, the sight in front of his eyes getting blurry. When he looks into the mirror, he wonder if it’s really him and Sho. Like an outer body experience.
When Sho bites into his shoulder, a shiver goes through his body. Jun comes untouched, his body shaking with the intensity of his orgasm. Sho follows soon after him, his warm seed filling him up to the brim.
They both plop down on the mattress, panting heavily. Soon Jun feels warm lips pressed against his neck and back. “Are you alright?” Sho asks in concern. He pushes himself up slightly, obviously about to pull cock out of Jun.
Jun stops him. “Stay inside me for a while.”
Sho blinks. “It’ going to be uncomfortable for you soon, Jun.”
He doesn’t care. “I want to feel you a bit longer.”
Sho fulfils his wish, like always. “So stubborn,” he whispers softly. “God, do I love you. Like crazy.”
With these words in his ears Jun slowly drifts to sleep.
~~~
His body aches when he wakes up two hours later. Sho stirs too, carefully pulling out of Jun now. “I’m tired,” Jun mumbles, feeling exhausted by the stress he went through today.
“I know,” Sho chuckles. “But I can’t possibly leave you like that, can I?”
“I’m sticky,” Jun grumbles into his pillow.
“Exactly.”
Sho grins, helping Jun up, an arm wrapped around Jun’s hips protectively. Jun blinks slightly when he sees the huge mirror covering the whole side of the room, suddenly remembering what they did in front of this mirror and the fact that he actually saw it.
“I can’t believe it that you made me watch everything that way,” he stutters.
Sho chuckles. “And I can’t believe that you are acting so embarrassed now after the show you put on.”
Jun blushes and smiles at the same time, feeling weirdly content for being able to make Sho’s senses fly away. He feels relaxed all of a sudden and calm, almost forgetting what happened earlier that evening.
Until Satoshi calls.
~~~
Jun instantly feels a wave of warmth engulfing him when he hears Satoshi’s voice. “I’m coming home tonight, my love.”
“Really!?” Jun blurts out happily.
“Yes,” Satoshi chuckles softly. “I pulled a few all-nighters to get everything done, I’ll be staying with you longer this time.”
“REALLY!?”
“You said that before,” Satoshi teases. “I missed you so much, Jun.”
“I missed you too,” Jun says sincerely. Sho is here, but it’s not the same when Satoshi is missing. He says the exact same thing to Satoshi.
Satoshi stays quiet for a moment. “I love you, Jun,” he finally says, voice hoarse.
Jun presses his phone against his ear. “I’m sorry for worrying you,” he says, suddenly remembering again what happened before.
“I’m just glad Sho was there,” Satoshi states, his voice suddenly heavy with worry, giving a twinge of guilt to Jun’s stomach. “I’m sorry for leaving you alone in this, Jun. Please forgive me.”
“No, it’s not your fault,” Jun blurts out. “It’s mine!”
He can almost hear the surprise in Satoshi’s voice. “Of course it’s not yours,” Satoshi urges. “You are young and new to this world. Sho and I weren’t careful enough. I promise I’ll be there for you more often.”
“It really is my fault,” Jun mumbles quietly.
“Let’s talk about this later tonight, alright?” Satoshi offers. “Just relax a bit for now and take it slow, and let Sho pamper you.”
“I will,” Jun promises but only because he doesn’t want to unsettle Satoshi further. When he hangs up, he suddenly feels sick to his own stomach. He is so stupid. This whole almost-catastrophe could have been prevented, if he just made better decisions. Now he needed to somehow tell Sho and Satoshi. He is sure that Satoshi got the desperation in his voice right, realizing that something might be off. He is not like Sho, he is more earnest and quieter, he listens to things others don’t hear, and Jun wonders what exactly he heard when he was talking to him just now.
“Everything alright, Jun?”
Jun only realizes that Sho is approaching him when the latter touches his shoulder carefully. Jun winces slightly in pain.
“What’s wrong?” Sho asks in horror.
“My head,” Jun whispers, squeezing his eyes at the sudden throbbing pain. He hasn’t realized it coming until it was there. “I feel sick,” he manages to breath out.
Sho basically drops everything he was about to do and is suddenly in front of Jun. Jun can hardly see him, the pain blurring his sight. “You are burning,” Sho mumbles. “Let’s get you into your bed.”
Sho’s arm holds him steady, carefully leading him to his bed. The next minutes or hours pass without Jun even noticing that they are passing. It’s like there is fog surrounding everything, just the throbbing pain in the back of his head and right above his right eyebrow reminds him that he is still here.
Sometimes he can feel something touching his forehead, and he remotely realizes that Sho’s voice is talking to him, but he can’t answer.
Then, what seems like hours later, there is suddenly something cold pressed against his neck and forehead, the scent of herbs filling his nose, and a calm voice talking to him. A cold hand touches his face soothingly.
Jun forces his eyes open. “Satoshi-san?” he mumbles. Then he finally falls asleep.
When Jun wakes up his head feels slightly lighter than before, the awful throbbing subsided. His body still feels a bit numb though. Before he can get up though, a firm hand presses him back. “Don’t even think about it.”
Jun blinks, his eyes widening. “Satoshi!” he exclaims, slowly remembering his presence a few hours ago. He thought he was just dreaming. He clings to his mate, burying his face in his chest. Satoshi wraps his arms around him. “I can’t believe it, Jun,” Satoshi sounds worried and slightly upset. “I can’t believe you worked yourself into a panic attack.” He presses a kiss against Jun’s forehead. “Maybe I should punish you,” he teases. Jun knows he isn’t angry by the hands brushing his back softly.
How did he know? “But I…” Jun pauses. “Sho-kun?”
“Sho is intelligent but gullible,” Satoshi chuckles. “He thinks you just fell ill.” He pauses, loosening his grip and moving his head. He looks at Jun, like he is scanning his expression for the truth. “Are you scared of me, Jun?”
“What?” Jun blurts out. “But I… no!”
“How come you have a panic attack right after we were talking to each other?” Satoshi inquires further and Jun wonders how the heck he realized everything. Satoshi seems to be far away with his thoughts often, but sees more than others think he does. He touches Jun’s cheek with his thumb. He looks nervous. “Are you sure you are not scared of me?”
“I am not scared of you,” Jun mumbles. It’s not that simple. He isn’t scared of his mates. He is just scared they won’t approve of his choices and… He shakes his head.
“I’m sorry,” Satoshi says all of a sudden. “For bringing it up now. It’s not the right place and certainly not the right time. I don’t want to add any stress to you. Let’s talk about this another time.” He pauses. “Your friend Nino was here by the way.”
Jun knows he is shifting the topic but this time he is thankful he does so. “Really?”
“Yes, I think he hates me though. I was surprised why Sho asked me to talk to him and then hid somewhere.”
“He hates many vampires, especially old ones,” Jun grins. “Don’t take it to heart. I really like him.”
“He doesn’t hate you.”
“Yes, he has good taste.” Jun smiles.
Satoshi laughs slightly. “Maybe.”
“How come you were able to come back earlier? You are not going to leave immediately again?” Jun asks hopefully.
“I’m not leaving,” Satoshi reassures him. “I had a… talk with my father before I came here, and I think he finally understands I can’t leave my mate alone for that long.”
Jun blinks, clearly hearing the edge in Satoshi’s voice. “You mean you fought with him?” He feels miserable all of a sudden. “I’m sorry. Just because I’m so helpless and useless on my own and can’t-“
“That’s not it,” Satoshi interrupts him firmly. “We didn’t fight, we argued. But in the end he did understand. And you are not helpless or useless at all. I don’t want you to belittle yourself. To me you are perfect.”
Jun blushes at Satoshi’s words. To hide his embarrassment he goes back to Satoshi’s father. “So, what did you tell your father?”
“That I don’t want to leave my mate alone for such a long time, and that I have to think of how to continue with my work. Until then I’m not available for work in Europe.” He grins. “He understood that I need to spend time with my fresh and crispy young partner – his words not mine. At the end he even got slightly excited over the fact that we spend more time with each other. He is hoping for grandchildren now, it seems.”
Jun bursts into laughter. “Already?”
“Yeah, I’m sorry, my father is always like that. Annoying. And he does not know any privacy.”
Jun chuckles. He has only seen Satoshi’s father once, but instantly liked him. He is loud and funny and just says what comes to his mind. “I kinda like him. But I think I would like to spend more time with you and Sho before I think about babies.”
“Me too,” Satoshi chuckles.
Jun smiles happily, relieved to have Satoshi back home. He snuggles against him. “Where is Sho?”
Satoshi smiles. “He went grocery shopping. He is going to be back any minute. Then he can join us and we can just talk and cuddle and do whatever you want.” Before Jun manages to make a suggestive comment, Satoshi raises his eyebrows. “As long as it doesn’t involve bodily activities which will make you exhausted.”
Jun frowns. “Did you just read my mind?”
Satoshi chuckles. “Not necessary.”
~~~
Two days later Satoshi decides he can run a few errands in town and visit the one or other vampire for work. Jun is feeling a lot better, actually well enough to bicker with Sho about how he is perfectly available to do some cooking and go shopping, and he doesn’t need someone to attend to him like he is a child.
Satoshi grins happily. It’s unbelievable for him how many things changed since he found his mate. He knows his position forces him to leave a lot, but he is trying to find a way not to leave Jun and also Sho alone for too long.
When he isn’t close to Jun, he feels empty.
He knows Jun feels the same, because there is the bond between them, but sometimes Jun seems to pull away and hide behind a wall which is hard to get through. Satoshi swore to himself that he will never read his mate’s thoughts, and also Sho’s. It’s their right to have some privacy, and he would never breach their trust like that. Yet even without reading Jun’s thoughts he knows he is hiding something, and whatever it is made him sick.
Jun is a lot more casual around Sho than he is around Satoshi, but Satoshi knows their relationships and chemistry between each other are different. Jun respects him more than he respects Sho, which sadly means he is also more afraid of him. But he is also the one he comes to for protection.
While Satoshi goes through a few folders in his office in town, he wonders what’s wrong with Jun, and how he can help him get rid of the worries he has. He is young and restless, and Satoshi has to admit to himself that he has kind of forgotten how it felt to be young. He also never was a human before, he doesn’t understand the fast-living lives of humans.
His phone beeps. Satoshi clumsily picks it up, he hates these modern devices, but smiles when he sees it’s a message from Jun. His eyes widen though when he reads what Jun wrote him. Satoshi-san, did you mean it when you said you would punish me?
Not at all actually. I wanted to tease you. He frowns, tilting his head. Something about this is off, he thinks. Could it be… Unless…. Do you want me to punish you?
The answer comes as a surprise and yet it isn’t a surprise. Yes. Another message swiftly follows. I want you to punish me.
Do you mean it?
Yes.
Satoshi frowns. Never in the world would he do anything like that without hearing it straight form Jun, his voice. He gives him a swift call. “Are you sure, Jun?” he asks earnestly.
“Yes I am,” Jun’s voice has a certain edge to it which makes goosebumps appear on Satoshi’s arms. Jun comes to him for protection, and to Sho when he wants someone to chat with and hug… and to Satoshi when he wants things to get particularly…rough.
He needs more convincing though. “Say it. I need you to spell it out.”
Jun takes a breath, but his voice sounds surprisingly steady. “Please punish me.”

But poor Jun. And I feel sorry for Satoshi and Sho too. How terrible must it be for Satoshi to think that Jun is afraid of him.
I had forgotten until now how it must feel for both Sho and Satoshi to be separated from their mates on a regular basis, and that they must miss each other as well as Jun.
The sooner Jun tells them exactly what's on his mind, the better. That way they can help him to overcome his doubts and lack of self confidence.
Might I just finish by saying that Nun's thighs are magnificent and definitely nothing for him to be ashamed of.
Thank you Lilly. 💜
