The past 18 years of his life – which means each and every year – he has basically spent every public holiday, or even those that were taken over from Western culture, with his sister and family – except for Halloween. Because his sister hates everything that are remotely associated with horror movies.

This time though, things seem to develop into a very new direction. When Kotaki is changing after their rehearsal, Ryusei peeks over his shoulder. “You’ll reserve New Year and Christmas Eve for me, right?”

“Hm?” Kotaki looks up, blinking for a second, blushing even, before he tries to regain his balance again. He needs to sound as cool as possible. “Of course, idiot. Who else should I spend these days with anyway?”

Ryusei laughs, but doesn’t say anything else. Instead, he twinkles semi-suggestively. “Think of a nice present for me, will you?”

Oh, shut up, Kotaki thinks, and… he should have probably stuck to Shige instead of that weird tease, but then… fortunately, he has the one or other idea for a Christmas present already, so he just twinkles. “Oh,” he smirks. “I will.”

I think you totally nailed Non-chan, he's always trying to look cool - might have something to do with him not wanting people to see him as a child within a group of adults. But it's totally like him to try to appear unbothered when in reality his heart is jumping nervously.

Ryusei is way cool, trying to get to Non-chan, bringing forth that competitive side of him, which he probably adores. XDDD I'm having a feeling that he's pulling some strings there and Kotaki is too worried about his pride to even notice. But's he is a strong character and he's absolutely keeping level with Ryusei.

These two make quite a couple, really. My, I can imagine what kind of things might happen between them when they get into a fight - that might be interestign too. They'll have to make up afterwards too, of course. ^_~

I'm pretty thankful that you requested these two because it finally gave me the perfect opportunity to write a JWEST fic (I only wrote a Junta/Akito one before ^^)

So, the dynamic fits? I'm glad - I wasn't too sure about that, after all I'm not used to writing them. But I like these guys more and more. And I can imagin Non-chan giving of these cool, laid-back vibe while deep inside he is actually rather... cute ^^

And yes, I'm pretty sure Ryusei knows what he does :-)
