Summary: Ohno wants Jun not to overwork himself

“I think you are working too much.”
Jun basically halts in his movements. He has been practicing a little and just came out of the shower. He is just about to meet his manager and one guy from the team that’s going to be responsible for their concert in spring. It’s a surprise that Ohno is still around. “Did you wait here for me?”
Ohno shrugs. “Yes,” he answers simply.
“Why don’t you head home?” Jun offers. He doesn’t want his lover to wait for hours in the cold and empty dressing room. “I’ll come as soon as I’m finished.”
“No,” Ohno says in his casual way.
Jun blinks in surprise. “What? Why? You can’t stay here and wait. It’s cold and empty and uncomfortable.”
“Oh, I’m not staying here,” Ohno points out.
“So what’s your plan?”
The answer comes as a surprise. “You’re coming home with me.” Ohno says it in a casual and calm way, the one that normally takes the wind out of Jun’s sails immediately. This time, though, it doesn’t sit quite well with him.
“You can’t tell me when to go home,” he tells Ohno, voice vibrating slightly as he isn’t quite sure yet if he should get angry now or not.
Ohno’s eyes snaps open, and he takes a step towards Jun. For a moment, he looks slightly pissed, his eyes flickering in a dangerous way, but then he lets out a sigh. His face is straight again, eyes soft. “I am not.” He wraps his arms around Jun’s neck, pulling him closer. It feels warm and cosy in his embrace, and Ohno’s lips brush over his cheek softly. “I’m asking you. I don’t want to drag you home.”
“But-“
“You need a break. We all need it.”
“Just let me be,” Jun huffs, and it sounds incredibly hostile even to his own ears. Ohno draws back a bit, arms around Jun’s waist now, while he watches him with a thoughtful expression on his face.
“Should have recorded that, so that you can hear how you actually sound recently.”
“That bad?” Jun asks, a twinge of conscious makes his chest clench a bit.
“Well, right now, you just let it out on me, not on the others gladly, and I know how to deal with it. Let me just ask you something…” Ohno looks away for a moment before he leans his forehead against Jun’s. “What did you tell Nino when he was in this incredibly awful mood half a year ago?”
“Get home and rest,” Jun sighs. “I told him to get home and rest. Okay,” he nods. “I got it. I’ve been jumping into your face a lot recently. Sorry for that. I will cancel the meeting. You are right.”
Ohno chuckles. “Should have recorded that last sentence too. Could you repeat it?”
Jun smiles. “What about you? Are you still willing to keep up with my sorry ass?”
“Let’s get home and I can show you my very positive opinion concerning your person,” Ohno says and grins in such a rare teasing way that engulfs Jun immediately. “I can also make your ass feel sorry, if you want to.”
Jun laughs heartedly and Ohno looks at him with a proud grin. It feels relieving to do that. To simply be around each other.
