Summary: Jun prepares dessert. Nino is not happy.
Nino grimaces in disgust as he plays Mortal Kombat and accidentally unlocks a fatality. Ugh. His stomach turns upside down. Thank you for nothing, game. When he decides to take a break to recover his stomach, he hears some cursing coming from the kitchen.
“J?” Nino grins as he approaches his lover, bent over what seems to be pieces of fruits—his tablet leaning against some boxes on the kitchen counter. Jun stares at it with a deep frown on his face. When Nino approaches him and brushes over his arm, Jun jumps a little.
“Ah, sorry,” Jun smiles. “Didn’t hear you coming in.”
“What are you trying to cook?” Nino eyes the counter curiously. When Jun uses an instructional video on his tablet, it has to be something huge.
“Flambéed fruits,” Jun mumbles in highest concentration.
“Flamb-” Nino’s eyes snaps wide open. “Does that mean you put them on flames? In my kitchen? No way!”
“You’ll love the outcome,” Jun states, forwarding the video a bit. “I’ll be careful.” Nino stares at him in deep bewilderment. He is not serious. No way, he is serious! He can’t be! Before Nino could open his mouth to complain and tell Jun that he is an idiot for trying something like that in his kitchen, Jun points at the corridor. “Can you get the fire-extinguisher,” he says casually.
“You,” Nino frowns. “Freaking idiot! Forget it!”
“Okay,” Jun shrugs. “Then I’ll do it without.”
Now that’s even worse. Before Jun could even touch the fruit and the fire, Nino rushes to the corridor, grabbing his shiny new fire-extinguisher, and hurries back to the kitchen, panic spreading through his body.
Jun’s washing the pan.
“What?” Nino blinks.
Jun smiles apologetically. “Don’t get mad now,” he says and kisses Nino before he can even complain.
“You finished it already?” Nino asks when Jun draws back.
“Yeah, I knew what I was doing. I just wasn’t sure if I added enough honey to it. The thing with the fire, I already practiced several times.”
Nino looks at him with something that hopefully looks like a reproachful glance and a little glare. “Why didn’t you say so?”
“You were too freaked out,” Jun grins. “Had to get you out of the room.”
“Stupid tease.”
Jun chuckles. “Look who’s talking?”
Nino laughs slightly. He thinks he should be more pissed for being tricked, but actually he doesn’t mind that much. “So, where is your master creation now? All this commotion made me hungry.”
Jun presents him a plate with several flambéed fruits, and when Nino tastes one of them, he knows for sure. His teasing lover just has to make them regularly. “It’s okay,” he says casually.
Jun grins.

Date: 2016-04-20 08:09 pm (UTC)I've finished yours as well and will probably post it this weekend. I keep going back and making changes every time I read it through so I should post it before I change anything else. In the end I didn't make it a continuation of another story like I asked you about, instead it's completely new. I don't know how much you will like it though......because for some reason I had quite a struggle with it. So I hope it's going to be ok.
