Sold out: Chapter 2 (Matsumiya)
Title: Sold out Chapter 2
Pairing: Matsumiya, (plus an additional tiny surprise side-pairing, and guest appearances)
Rating: R
Beta:
ryosukekoibito
Genre: romance, AU, bit suspense/mystery (?)
Plot: In a world in which it’s normal to educate poor boys and girls in all kind of subjects and later sell them as eloquent ‘partners’ (A/N: not necessarily sexual!) to rich and wealthy people once they are of age. Nino is one of those kids. Thanks to his abilities he has the highest price but fears that no one will ever buy him. One day though a rich guy named Matsumoto Jun buys him. When Nino leaves the facility he grew up in, he suddenly finds himself in a completely new life. And Jun is nothing he imagined. Why would a guy like him spend such a high sum to buy a partner when he could just find one anywhere? While Nino starts looking for answers, his heart goes its own way...
Note: This just had to turn into a Matsumiya fic :D It's not really all that angsty by the way, parts of it are pretty light.
“Did you ever see the Beauty and the Beast?” Nino whines. “The Disney movie?”
Emmet grins while he helps Nino into his new dark blue jeans, white shirt and red blazer. “Yes I did.”
“I feel exactly like Belle before she has to have dinner with the beast,” Nino mumbles before he can stop his own words. He bites down on his tongue immediately afterwards. His stupid potty mouth. He can’t walk around, calling Matsumoto the beast after all, and-
To his surprise Emmet laughs. “Why don’t you just wait before you judge him?” He takes a step back and nods approvingly. “You look good. Let’s go downstairs.”
“Did he already arrive?” Nino asks shyly.
“Yes, half an hour ago. He said to give him some time to take a shower and change and look decent again, and that he will wait for you exactly at 7:30 pm.”
Nino blinks. “It’s 7:45.”
“Yeah, Matsumoto-san is never on time,” Emmet explains casually. “Let’s go to the salon.”
The few minutes in which Emmet drags him downstairs feel like he is in trance. Like this isn’t really happening. He is so nervous that his breath hitches slightly and his heart beats so fast that he is afraid that it might jump out of his chest. How is this man going to be? He needs to spend his whole life with him after all, in whatever role Matsumoto has planned for him… This is a crucial moment now. Please, let him be nice.
It’s like in a fucking movie when Emmet opens the door of the salon, bows slightly and pushes Nino inside. A freaking, cheesy movie in which the main actor turns around in slow motion and the world stops spinning for a moment. Nino’s world does. It just halts. The guy smiling at him is so breath-taking that Nino’s Beauty and Beast words from before feel like a joke now. Who is the Beauty now?
“Well.” Matsumoto smiles dazzlingly. “Finally I can meet you, Kazunari-kun. I apologize for not being able to pick you up personally.”
Nino blushes slightly. What’s this guy apologizing for? He is his master after all! “Not at all,” he stutters. “I was welcomed very warmly here. Thank you very much for your kindness, Matsumoto-san.” Oh god, he sounds like a helpless, pathetic, stiff idiot. Like he can't even say a proper sentence.
Matsumoto grins. “Please drop the formalities and call me Jun.”
Is he even able to do that? “Is that really okay?”
“Of course,” Matsumoto grins. “Try it.”
Sho’s words from today ring in his ears. A bit of a sadist, he said, right? Nino smiles slightly, he likes that characteristic – it’s a nice contrast to the utterly perfect appearance of Matsumoto and the awkward situation. And being a bit sadistic and teasing actually fits Nino himself too. “I’ll try, Jun-san.”
Jun chuckles. “Apparently I need to try harder to tease you. You are not one to be easily embarrassed.”
“You could say I have a very high tolerance level,” Nino jokes, finally able to overcome his nervousness and shyness, and to his relief and happiness Jun rewards him with a beautiful laugh. Why the hell was he even nervous before?
“So, how about we have dinner now?” Jun suggests. “I’m almost starving. Airplane food is horrible.”
“Well, the hamburger you let Shun-san prepare for me was very delicious,” Nino tells him.
Jun smirks. “Yeah, I wish someone would do that for me too.”
Nino smiles brightly and sits down at the other side of the table. For the first time he takes in his surroundings – he was too distracted by Jun beforehand . They’re sitting at the salon table, and there’s so many plates and such a variety of silverware on the table that Nino’s head starts spinning. He tries to remember everything he’d learned about etiquette and table manners, especially the European ones. He is going to fail, Nino knows, he will. It’s just inevitable. But to his surprise Jun grins.
“Sho-san ordered the food and the whole table setting this time,” he explains with a smirk. “He is so elite it’s ridiculous. He does huge business dinners regularly and he loves that type of thing. I tend to stay away from them. The higher politician and economic class is definitely more his league. Gladly. I don’t even know what that tiny fork is for.” He picks up one of them, eyeing it carefully.
“I think it’s for fish,” Nino muses.
“Yeah, whatever,” Jun chuckles. “Let’s grab a pair of fork and knifes, take our plates with food, and go to the sofa. They are showing the Avengers tonight, and I have only seen the movie three times. Not enough.”
Nino smiles in relief. This sounds exactly like the way he likes to spend his evenings. In front of the TV. Just the right amount of fun. The sofa is also huge, so that he doesn’t need to feel too nervous about being too close to Jun. This guy is really unbelievable. Good-looking, and he seems to be confident and social.
Nino knows there are many royals and rich people around that need company because they are lonely. But Matsumoto seems to have tons of friends, and he is good-looking and comes off as lovable. Why the hell did he spend so much money on Nino? It makes no sense!
~~~
“What are we eating?” Sho’s voice sounds bland - from shock? - and his face looks like he just saw a ghost.
Jun stretches slightly and hands Sho a plate. “Pizza. With extra ham.”
“What’s with the hors d’oeuvre I ordered?”
Nino stays silent throughout this conversation. First he is way too happy that they are having simple cheese pizza, second he has no idea what hors d’oeuvre actually are. Judging by Jun’s face however he doesn’t know it either. Jun has invited Sho to a harmless little gathering with movies and junk food, but apparently Sho needs some time to adapt to this concept of hanging out.
“You mean the weird finger-food?” Jun asks carefully. “Is it even edible?”
Sho lets out an exasperated sigh and takes one of the pizza slices. “Forget it!” he huffs. Emmet meanwhile takes the moment of distraction and fills Sho’s glass with more wine. If his strategy is to make him drunk, it works, as Sho falls asleep only half an hour later.
“And now?” Jun wants to know. “Do you want to watch another movie?”
Hm. Does he? As much as he likes crappy trash movies, there is something else he wants more right now. Actually what he truly wants it to learn more about Jun. “Could we play a game?” Nino asks carefully.
Jun shrugs. “Of course. What do you want to play?”
“I ask, you answer. Your answer has to come as fast as possible.”
Jun blinks in surprise, then however he chuckles. “Sounds more like an interview than a game!”
“Don’t you want to do it?” Nino asks, suddenly feeling nervous. The last thing he should do is to piss Jun off. After all he bought him for a lot of money. He is obliged to make Jun feel comfortable and happy, not the other way round. “I just want to get to know you a bit,” he explains honestly.
“It’s fine for me.” Jun grins. “I hope I won’t disappoint you.”
That’s hardly possible, Nino thinks, but doesn’t say it out loud. Instead he goes for explaining his rules. “Don’t forget: Answer without thinking and as fast as possible.”
“Got it.”
“Your dream job as a child?”
“Botanist.”
Nino chuckles. “You are kidding!?”
“Not at all.” Jun smiles. “I really liked flowers and butterflies as a child.”
“As a child… did you believe in fairies?”
“Of course!” Jun answers seriously. “They actually built their little house right under my bed.”
Nino giggles. “End this sentence: To me Sakurai-san means…”
“… a lot of bothersome work and arguments-“
“I heard you,” Sho half grunts, half complains from under his blanket.
Jun chuckles. “But at the same time he is also my conscious and my sense of reason when I dream too much and want to achieve too much at once. Couldn’t work without him.”
Nino can see how Sho blushes slightly and half hides under his blanket. “I my next life, I want to be-?“
“I would like to be me again, to be honest. I’m happy with how things are right now.”
Nino can’t help but blush a bit at the glance Jun throws him. He hurries to his next question. “If you had the chance to be an animal, which one would you chose?”
“An eagle. Must be nice to be able to fly. Or an ant.”
“An ant?”
“Yes, just imagine you would be that small and no one would see you. You could find out so many interesting secrets.”
“True!” Nino laughs. “What’s your strongest point?”
“My fashion sense?” Jun offers. Nino has to smile slightly. He doubts this is Jun’s true strongest point, but then he decides not to ask further. He probably can’t learn all about Jun at once.
“What pisses you off?”
“Dishonesty. Men who hit their wives. People who use others like they are objects. To name just a few things…”
“Your weak point?”
“My temper.”
“Do you cry when you watch a sad movie?”
“Yes.”
“Rice or pasta?”
“Do I have to choose?” When Nino nods, Jun lets out a sigh. “I guess I like pasta more than rice, but I can’t live without rice. So, rice?”
“Beer or wine?”
“Wine.”
“Something no one knows about you?”
Jun smirks. “I’ve read all Harry Potter books, watched all the movies and even went to a convention once.”
Nino’s eyes widen in surprise. “You are kidding me? Is this why you are so understanding towards my videogame addiction?”
Jun grins. “Who knows…?”
Nino chuckles. “Better safe-“
“-than sorry.”
“Love means?”
“To fully trust someone, respect the other person and be there for each other.”
How romantic. Nino suppresses a giggle. He didn’t really expect Jun to actually be like that. Nino decides to push him further, just to see how far he can actually go with his questions. “In bed I like to?”
Jun smirks. “Sleep.”
Nino laughs slightly. “You know this isn’t what I meant!”
“You mean sex?” Jun throws him a teasing glance.
Nino nods.
“I like many things. Soft and wild sex. And I like to experiment.”
Nino blinks in surprise. He hasn’t expected Jun to answer even half of his weird questions, let alone such a private one. “Why are you so honest with me?”
Jun shrugs. “Because I know a lot of things about you, and you don’t know much about me. I thought it would be fair to answer you honestly.”
Nino smiles nervously. “Why did you choose me?”
Jun tilts his head slightly, his eyes piercing Nino. Nino isn’t all that sure if Jun is angry or not, but to his relief, Jun’s gaze softens. “Ask me the next time we play this game.”
Nino sighs inwardly. So his most important question remains unanswered. He should have expected it. He grabs another slice of pizza and chews on it thoughtfully. Apparently he needs to change his strategy.
~~~
“Pack your things!” Emmet rips the door to Nino’s room open and stomps inside. Nino grunts.
“What time is it?”
“5 AM,” Emmet chirps and tugs at Nino’s blanket. “You and Matsumoto-san are going to the countryside for the weekend. You are meeting his friend there, Ohno-san.”
“Ah,” Nino mumbles and is about to drift to sleep again, when Emmet grabs his leg and starts tugging him out of the bed. “Okay okay! I’m awake,” he huffs.
“You and Matsumoto really are similar,” Emmet chuckles.
“Is he not an early riser?” Nino wants to know.
“That is the biggest understatement ever.” Emmet grins. “He is even worse with mornings than you are. Be prepared for a pair of sunglasses and a grumpy expression.”
Emmet’s words have piqued Nino’s curiosity. When Emmet leaves him alone, he swiftly grabs his diary. He started one the moment he left the facility. And now he’s trying to gather as much information about Jun as possible. Being bad with mornings is just too cute. After their first evening they had spent the whole week in the same manner – well the evenings of the week as Jun had to go to work. Jun had shown him around the house and even taken him to his workplace. He also had made it clear that Nino was free to go wherever he would like. He shouldn’t feel like a prisoner in this house.
He really is nice. Nino smiles slightly and puts his diary into the bag Emmet has already prepared. With his best casual clothes on he stumbles downstairs and out of the house where Shun is waiting in front of the car.
Jun’s already sitting inside, and Emmet didn’t exaggerate. Jun grunts a good morning to him rather than actually saying hello, and doesn’t greet Emmet at all. He also sleeps half of the drive to… wherever they are going. Nino doesn’t mind much, he talks with Shun and secretly watches Jun’s features. He looks so cute when he is sleeping.
It’s about 8AM when Jun slowly wakes up, and gets more talkative. He also puts his sunglasses away and takes the breakfast box Emmet prepared for them. “Tea?” he asks.
“Yes.” Nino nods happily. “I didn’t even realize I was hungry.”
“I realized that too. You seem to forget to eat when I don’t tell Emmet to remind you of it or when I don’t watch out for you. Food is important!” He throws Nino a strict glance as if to enforce that he was scolding him.
Nino smiles a bit and nods. “I’ll try to watch out more.”
“Fine.” Jun chuckles. “Let’s eat. I let the cook prepare a real bento.”
Nino beams. “A Japanese one?”
“Yes, of course.”
He hadn’t had any Japanese food in a long time. To be honest Jun’s taste is a little too exquisite for him. Most of the time Jun considers Nino’s likes too, almost like he can read his mind, but a real Japanese bento is still something else. He sighs happily when he sees the fried vegetables, egg rolls, maki and salad. “Thank you,” he mumbles, almost feeling a bit flustered by how hard Jun tries to make his life as comfortable as possible. Not to mention that he didn’t even touch him once up to now. Is that even normal? They are just hanging out together, watching movies, talking, eating together… like they are friends. But up to now Jun hasn’t touched him even once.
Nino almost blushes at his own thoughts. What is he even thinking!? Is he disappointed now that Jun doesn’t cross that line? He should be freaking thankful that Jun treats him with so much respect.
Jun pokes his cheek with his chopsticks. “You are dozing off,” he teases. “Now that I’m awake are you getting sleepy?”
“Not at all.” Nino chuckles.
“Good, because I have two surprises for you once we arrive,” Jun says casually.
Nino eyes him curiously. “What kind of surprise?”
“If I tell you now, it won’t be a surprise anymore.”
Nino smirks. “Oh come on, the only reason you told me beforehand is because you wanted to tease me.”
“Maybe.” Jun laughs and takes a rice ball out of his bento, moving his chopsticks towards Nino’s mouth. “Try this. It’s a bit spicy.”
“Hm.” Nino nods and takes a bite from it. For a moment he tastes nothing except rice and salmon, then however he can feel something burning down his throat, his eyes tearing up. He coughs.
Jun pats his back. “Sorry.”
“No.” Nino shakes his head. “It’s my fault.” He happily takes the water Jun hands him and takes a sip from it, sighing in relief when the burning stop. “You really are well-equipped here,” he muses. “Food and water.”
“And wine,” Jun continues.
“Wine?”
“Yes, awesome Cuvée. I’m not sure if you want to try it. I know you aren’t quite a wine-person.”
Somewhere far in his mind Nino remembers his lessons about European wine, but he has never quite gotten the appeal of it. Still he nods. He wants to try everything Jun has prepared for him.
“It’s down there.” Jun bends forward, over Nino and towards the box next to Nino. Nino can feel his hair tickling his chin, and his warm breath against his arms. And suddenly it feels a bit more difficult to breathe.
When Jun looks up, Nino shows him the most seductive expression he has, tries to lay it all open in his eyes. It’s nothing he has planned before, nothing he actually thought about, and he himself wonders the most… what the hell is he doing? Something inside Jun’s eyes seems to flicker for a moment, but then he just smiles brightly. “Wine?” he asks.
Fuck it! Why didn’t it work!? Jun’s treating him like a helpless virgin! Okay, technically he still is a virgin, but it’s discriminating to treat him as one. Damn it! He is so going to seduce that dude and show him that even though he is a virgin, he is a power-virgin rather than a helpless one!
For now though he can’t do anything as they are in the car, with Shun driving them. They are approaching their destination it seems, as Shun suddenly pulls the car over and they drive over a twisting country lane until they reach a beautiful cottage. It’s a bit bigger than what one would call cottage, but it gives off a relaxing and calming vibe, and Nino loves it immediately.
“There even is a ranch,” he mumbles.
“Yes.” Jun chuckles and grabs Nino’s wrist to pull him along. Nino’s stupid heart betrays him by jumping slightly even though there is no other intention behind Jun’s move but to show him around. “My friend, Ohno-san, is an artist and likes to have a place to retreat to. That’s why we co-own this place. Also he has had the crazy idea one day to have a ranch with horses, some sheep and, well you get my point.”
“I didn’t know that you’re an animal person.” Nino points out.
Jun blushes a bit. “The truth is I’m not. I like animals but they don’t quite seem to like me. Last month Ohno-kun bought a cute pony for me, but to be honest, I don’t think I’m cut out to look after an animal.”
Nino blinks. “So what are you going to do with the pony?”
“Give it to you.”
“What!?” Is he serious? He doesn’t know anything about animals at all, and-
“I can almost read your doubts,” Jun interrupts him with a smile. “Why don’t you take a look at it before you make up your mind?”
Nino nods and follows his… whatever he is to him… Jun… to the stables. At the backside of it, on the meadow, there is a tiny pony. It’s so small that Nino has to look twice to actually believe it’s an animal.
“It’s a shetland pony,” Jun explains. “They don’t get taller than 112 centimetres. This one has a height of 90 centimetres.”
“It’s real,” Nino gasps out. “It’s tiny. And it’s cute.”
“Why don’t you take a look at it?” Jun offers. “You can touch it.”
Fine, Nino thinks, weirdly drawn to that little pony. He knows that ponies in general are small but this one was smaller than the usual pony. He doesn’t know why, but the moment he touches the pony’s head, his heart makes a happy jump. Looking after an animal? He isn’t sure if he can do that, but the thought of having something or someone to look after is just so beautiful that it almost makes him cry. He wonders if Jun knew that this is exactly what he needed. When he turns around Jun is looking the other direction, watching some of the horses. Nino smiles while he walks back, and grabs Jun’s hand, ignoring the surprised look in Jun’s eyes. “I’ll look after it,” he says casually. “This is a nice surprise.”
“Well,” Jun chuckles and leads Nino towards the second stable. “I told you, there are two surprises, right? The best one is still to come.”
“Is this the place for the sheep?” Nino asks curiously. “Do you have another animal for me?”
Jun laughs. “No. Just open the door.”
Nino does, and peaks into the room curiously. There is a group of sheep surrounding a person sitting on the ground. A young man with auburn hair, and… “Oh my god,” Nino breathes out, his eyes widening in surprise. This has to be a dream. It’s too good… It can’t be reality! It’s… “Aiba-chan?”
Aiba turns around and waves happily at him. “Finally you’re here! Oh-chan and I have been waiting since forever!” He jumps up and the next thing Nino knows is that Aiba’s sun browned arms are wrapped around him, hugging him tightly.
A/N: Thanks so much for all the support you gave me when I posted the first chapter. I sincerely hope you'll like this one too, and the next ones. (I'm a little nervous now *lol*)
So, Aiba appeared now. And Jun and Kazu officially met. The reason why Jun bought Kazu is still a secret though. What do you think? Why did he bought him? :-)
On another note, I'm not sure if I'll really manage to post it in four parts (one part is very long, and I'm not sure if Lj lets me post it as one. I promise there won't be more than 5-6 parts though!)

“-than sorry.”
“Love means?”
“To fully trust someone, respect the other person and be there for each other.”
How romantic. Nino suppresses a giggle. He didn’t really expect Jun to actually be like that. Nino decides to push him further, just to see how far he can actually go with his questions. “In bed I like to?”
Jun smirks. “Sleep.”
Nino laughs slightly. “You know this isn’t what I meant!”
“You mean sex?” Jun throws him a teasing glance.
Nino nods.
“I like many things. Soft and wild sex. And I like to experiment.”
Nino blinks in surprise. He hasn’t expected Jun to answer even half of his weird questions, let alone such a private one. “Why are you so honest with me?”
Jun shrugs. “Because I know a lot of things about you, and you don’t know much about me. I thought it would be fair to answer you honestly.”
Nino smiles nervously. “Why did you choose me?”
Jun tilts his head slightly, his eyes piercing Nino. Nino isn’t all that sure if Jun is angry or not, but to his relief, Jun’s gaze softens. “Ask me the next time we play this game.”
Nino sighs inwardly. So his most important question remains unanswered. He should have expected it. He grabs another slice of pizza and chews on it thoughtfully. Apparently he needs to change his strategy.
~~~
“Pack your things!” Emmet rips the door to Nino’s room open and stomps inside. Nino grunts.
“What time is it?”
“5 AM,” Emmet chirps and tugs at Nino’s blanket. “You and Matsumoto-san are going to the countryside for the weekend. You are meeting his friend there, Ohno-san.”
“Ah,” Nino mumbles and is about to drift to sleep again, when Emmet grabs his leg and starts tugging him out of the bed. “Okay okay! I’m awake,” he huffs.
“You and Matsumoto really are similar,” Emmet chuckles.
“Is he not an early riser?” Nino wants to know.
“That is the biggest understatement ever.” Emmet grins. “He is even worse with mornings than you are. Be prepared for a pair of sunglasses and a grumpy expression.”
Emmet’s words have piqued Nino’s curiosity. When Emmet leaves him alone, he swiftly grabs his diary. He started one the moment he left the facility. And now he’s trying to gather as much information about Jun as possible. Being bad with mornings is just too cute. After their first evening they had spent the whole week in the same manner – well the evenings of the week as Jun had to go to work. Jun had shown him around the house and even taken him to his workplace. He also had made it clear that Nino was free to go wherever he would like. He shouldn’t feel like a prisoner in this house.
He really is nice. Nino smiles slightly and puts his diary into the bag Emmet has already prepared. With his best casual clothes on he stumbles downstairs and out of the house where Shun is waiting in front of the car.
Jun’s already sitting inside, and Emmet didn’t exaggerate. Jun grunts a good morning to him rather than actually saying hello, and doesn’t greet Emmet at all. He also sleeps half of the drive to… wherever they are going. Nino doesn’t mind much, he talks with Shun and secretly watches Jun’s features. He looks so cute when he is sleeping.
It’s about 8AM when Jun slowly wakes up, and gets more talkative. He also puts his sunglasses away and takes the breakfast box Emmet prepared for them. “Tea?” he asks.
“Yes.” Nino nods happily. “I didn’t even realize I was hungry.”
“I realized that too. You seem to forget to eat when I don’t tell Emmet to remind you of it or when I don’t watch out for you. Food is important!” He throws Nino a strict glance as if to enforce that he was scolding him.
Nino smiles a bit and nods. “I’ll try to watch out more.”
“Fine.” Jun chuckles. “Let’s eat. I let the cook prepare a real bento.”
Nino beams. “A Japanese one?”
“Yes, of course.”
He hadn’t had any Japanese food in a long time. To be honest Jun’s taste is a little too exquisite for him. Most of the time Jun considers Nino’s likes too, almost like he can read his mind, but a real Japanese bento is still something else. He sighs happily when he sees the fried vegetables, egg rolls, maki and salad. “Thank you,” he mumbles, almost feeling a bit flustered by how hard Jun tries to make his life as comfortable as possible. Not to mention that he didn’t even touch him once up to now. Is that even normal? They are just hanging out together, watching movies, talking, eating together… like they are friends. But up to now Jun hasn’t touched him even once.
Nino almost blushes at his own thoughts. What is he even thinking!? Is he disappointed now that Jun doesn’t cross that line? He should be freaking thankful that Jun treats him with so much respect.
Jun pokes his cheek with his chopsticks. “You are dozing off,” he teases. “Now that I’m awake are you getting sleepy?”
“Not at all.” Nino chuckles.
“Good, because I have two surprises for you once we arrive,” Jun says casually.
Nino eyes him curiously. “What kind of surprise?”
“If I tell you now, it won’t be a surprise anymore.”
Nino smirks. “Oh come on, the only reason you told me beforehand is because you wanted to tease me.”
“Maybe.” Jun laughs and takes a rice ball out of his bento, moving his chopsticks towards Nino’s mouth. “Try this. It’s a bit spicy.”
“Hm.” Nino nods and takes a bite from it. For a moment he tastes nothing except rice and salmon, then however he can feel something burning down his throat, his eyes tearing up. He coughs.
Jun pats his back. “Sorry.”
“No.” Nino shakes his head. “It’s my fault.” He happily takes the water Jun hands him and takes a sip from it, sighing in relief when the burning stop. “You really are well-equipped here,” he muses. “Food and water.”
“And wine,” Jun continues.
“Wine?”
“Yes, awesome Cuvée. I’m not sure if you want to try it. I know you aren’t quite a wine-person.”
Somewhere far in his mind Nino remembers his lessons about European wine, but he has never quite gotten the appeal of it. Still he nods. He wants to try everything Jun has prepared for him.
“It’s down there.” Jun bends forward, over Nino and towards the box next to Nino. Nino can feel his hair tickling his chin, and his warm breath against his arms. And suddenly it feels a bit more difficult to breathe.
When Jun looks up, Nino shows him the most seductive expression he has, tries to lay it all open in his eyes. It’s nothing he has planned before, nothing he actually thought about, and he himself wonders the most… what the hell is he doing? Something inside Jun’s eyes seems to flicker for a moment, but then he just smiles brightly. “Wine?” he asks.
Fuck it! Why didn’t it work!? Jun’s treating him like a helpless virgin! Okay, technically he still is a virgin, but it’s discriminating to treat him as one. Damn it! He is so going to seduce that dude and show him that even though he is a virgin, he is a power-virgin rather than a helpless one!
For now though he can’t do anything as they are in the car, with Shun driving them. They are approaching their destination it seems, as Shun suddenly pulls the car over and they drive over a twisting country lane until they reach a beautiful cottage. It’s a bit bigger than what one would call cottage, but it gives off a relaxing and calming vibe, and Nino loves it immediately.
“There even is a ranch,” he mumbles.
“Yes.” Jun chuckles and grabs Nino’s wrist to pull him along. Nino’s stupid heart betrays him by jumping slightly even though there is no other intention behind Jun’s move but to show him around. “My friend, Ohno-san, is an artist and likes to have a place to retreat to. That’s why we co-own this place. Also he has had the crazy idea one day to have a ranch with horses, some sheep and, well you get my point.”
“I didn’t know that you’re an animal person.” Nino points out.
Jun blushes a bit. “The truth is I’m not. I like animals but they don’t quite seem to like me. Last month Ohno-kun bought a cute pony for me, but to be honest, I don’t think I’m cut out to look after an animal.”
Nino blinks. “So what are you going to do with the pony?”
“Give it to you.”
“What!?” Is he serious? He doesn’t know anything about animals at all, and-
“I can almost read your doubts,” Jun interrupts him with a smile. “Why don’t you take a look at it before you make up your mind?”
Nino nods and follows his… whatever he is to him… Jun… to the stables. At the backside of it, on the meadow, there is a tiny pony. It’s so small that Nino has to look twice to actually believe it’s an animal.
“It’s a shetland pony,” Jun explains. “They don’t get taller than 112 centimetres. This one has a height of 90 centimetres.”
“It’s real,” Nino gasps out. “It’s tiny. And it’s cute.”
“Why don’t you take a look at it?” Jun offers. “You can touch it.”
Fine, Nino thinks, weirdly drawn to that little pony. He knows that ponies in general are small but this one was smaller than the usual pony. He doesn’t know why, but the moment he touches the pony’s head, his heart makes a happy jump. Looking after an animal? He isn’t sure if he can do that, but the thought of having something or someone to look after is just so beautiful that it almost makes him cry. He wonders if Jun knew that this is exactly what he needed. When he turns around Jun is looking the other direction, watching some of the horses. Nino smiles while he walks back, and grabs Jun’s hand, ignoring the surprised look in Jun’s eyes. “I’ll look after it,” he says casually. “This is a nice surprise.”
“Well,” Jun chuckles and leads Nino towards the second stable. “I told you, there are two surprises, right? The best one is still to come.”
“Is this the place for the sheep?” Nino asks curiously. “Do you have another animal for me?”
Jun laughs. “No. Just open the door.”
Nino does, and peaks into the room curiously. There is a group of sheep surrounding a person sitting on the ground. A young man with auburn hair, and… “Oh my god,” Nino breathes out, his eyes widening in surprise. This has to be a dream. It’s too good… It can’t be reality! It’s… “Aiba-chan?”
Aiba turns around and waves happily at him. “Finally you’re here! Oh-chan and I have been waiting since forever!” He jumps up and the next thing Nino knows is that Aiba’s sun browned arms are wrapped around him, hugging him tightly.
A/N: Thanks so much for all the support you gave me when I posted the first chapter. I sincerely hope you'll like this one too, and the next ones. (I'm a little nervous now *lol*)
So, Aiba appeared now. And Jun and Kazu officially met. The reason why Jun bought Kazu is still a secret though. What do you think? Why did he bought him? :-)
On another note, I'm not sure if I'll really manage to post it in four parts (one part is very long, and I'm not sure if Lj lets me post it as one. I promise there won't be more than 5-6 parts though!)
Finally Matsumiya! I wonder why Jun bought Nino, looking at Sho and Ohno as his friend means he's not lonely. Maybe Nino and Jun have met before? XD
So soo glad that Aiba is free too now, and with Ohno :D Pretty sure he's happy working with animals there :)
Can't wait for more and I didn't mind if the story a bit longer ^^
Nino is pretty smart playing that game instead just asking normally. But still Jun wouldn't tell him the reason why he bought Nino. This is still pretty nice and dandy but I saw that you've put suspense/mystery as part of the genre. I guess the next part will be heading towards it? Now I'm nervous.
no subject
It was a smart move from Nino, right? Well, he definitely is a smart guy ^^ Still, Jun didn't tell him the reason why he bought him.
(To be honest, I'm not sure if there is really going to be suspense in this. Maybe rather... like a puzzle?)
Masaki and Nino reunited!! So it was Masaki and Ohno. I didn't see that coming. Fufu. I'm sure they would be a fun pair, ne π
I got the feeling that Jun already knew about Kazu before he enter the facility, maybe that's the reason why Jun bought him?
