Jun is by far his favourite. By far. Sho tutors quite some teens to earn some money. And Jun is the only one he truly adores. He is 17, has these huge expressive eyes that light up so easily in joy, he has the brightest smile ever and a cute laugh. He also always listens to what Sho tells him and tries to follow his lessons. He is so adorable that Sho loves him to bits. Loves him a bit too much actually. He is sure Jun only admires him as his senpai though, because Sho is almost two years older, and a bit dense sometimes. Jun probably finds him boring as hell.

Jun just passed an important exam and seeing him so happy fills Sho’s stomach with warmth. He can’t let their lesson end like normally, he wants to spend more time with Jun. “Do you want to have dinner together? To celebrate your exam?”

Jun looks up from his book, blushing suddenly. He is so adorable. “I…yes… thank you.”

Sho has two options now, either leading Jun to a fancy restaurant and have no money left to buy the Christmas present he wanted to buy him or take him to a cheaper placer and have enough money left for his present.

When they cross the street his eyes meet the brand new KFC store. It just opened, it’s hipster, not too expensive, and he will have money left for Jun’s present. Great! “How about this one?”

Jun looks up, before nodding careful. “Sure.”

Sho orders two wraps and a box with friend chicken for himself. Jun just goes with some potato wedges and a small chicken salad. Sho doesn’t question it much, he is used to Jun being a small eater.

It’s a fun evening, they chat a lot, and Jun smiles and looks happy, laughing at Sho’s jokes and opening up a bit more than usual. A nice contrast to the shy young guy he normally he is.

“Jun-kun!”

Jun and Sho both look up in surprise, and Sho’s eyes meet a guy he knows from the times he met with Jun directly after school. He is one of Jun’s friends.

“Hi Shun-kun, you are also here?”

“Yeah, with my girlfriend.” Shun grins and clasps Jun’s shoulder. “I can’t believe you are here though. Since when do you eat fast food? Always thought you hate it…”

With that he waves them goodbye and disappears. Jun looks extremely embarrassed all of a sudden and Sho is completely dumbfounded first, before it dawns on him. And… shit! He is such an idiot!! “Oh my god, you hate fast food! I’m so sorry. You hate it here!”

“No,” Jun blurts out. “I don’t!”

“Your friend just said that you never eat here.” Sho sighs. He should have known, Jun’s taste was pretty specific. “I’m so sorry, I thought you would like it here.”

“But I’m happy to be here,” Jun stutters.

“We can go to a better place,” Sho offers immediately. He has another tutor lesson tomorrow with an annoying kid he hates, but his parents pay well. He could make it two hours, get more money and-

Jun grabs his arm. “I don’t want to go to a better place.”

“But you don’t like fast food,” Sho argues. “I want you to be happy!”

“But I am happy,” Jun blurts out. “I am her with you!”

Sho blinks a few times. “Do you mean…”

“I need to go,” Jun suddenly says, sounding horrified. He grabs his jacket and bag, hurrying away.

Sho needs a while to come to his senses, but once he does he is up his feet immediately, running after Jun. He catches him right in front of the store, grabbing his wrist to make him stop.

Jun doesn’t turn around though. He doesn’t even look at him. “I’m sorry,” he mumbles. “I didn’t want to make things awkward.”

Sho swallows, his heart thumping against his chest like crazy. “Do you…” he licks his lips nervously. “Do you want to go to the movies on Saturday. You know… a date…”

Jun turns around finally, eyes wide in surprise. “Are you serious?”

Sho smiles, letting his fingers brush down Jun’s arm until he reaches his hand. They lock their fingers. “Can I walk you home?”

Jun nods with a smile. “Of course.”

Thanks soo much !!! That was lovely a blushing embarassed young Jun ( though he is adoreable when he is embarassed at any age :-))
And you choose KFC - that is soo Japanese and soo disgusting .. I can so feel Jun and see Sho enjoy at the same time.
And ... then clever Sho, with an EQ of typewriter(?..) ... well - it's Sho 🙄, and being slow in this respect, is his way to be cute,ne...

Soo thanks again and big sorry for being absent for some time ( but jlpt and office movements and family matters got on my way)
