Title: Imbalance 28: Open
Pairing: Sakumoto, Juntoshi
Rating: R
Genre: romance, somewhat angsty?
Plot: It's always been okay for him to be the person in a relationship who loves more.
Note: This is akhikaru 's fault, and also learashi , with their prompt tables and awesome drabble series <3 I've decided to treat this like a challenge. I'm using a prompt-table from lj, and will write these drabbles as they come to my mind, withoug planning anything in advance. It's going to be one story in the end, but the drabbles won't be posted in the correct timeline

Jun dramatically shields his eyes when he comes back to his and Nino’s apartment. After all this time they are still living together, both of them hating to be alone. “Please put on your clothes,” he calls out in a mock-dramatic tone.
Masaki blushes furiously, while Nino is chuckling and grunting in annoyance in the same time. “One time, J! You saw us making out one time – and we weren’t naked!”
“Pardon me,” Jun takes his hand from his eyes, grinning. “But Masaki-kun wasn’t wearing his shirt anymore, and the bottoms of your trousers were open.”
Masaki clears his throat. “So, how was work?”
Nino and Jun exchange a grin. “What an eloquent way to change the topic,” Jun teases.
“Eloquent is the word of the moment,” Nino agrees, rolling his eyes.
“If you are finished making fun of me, I would really like to know how your day at work was,” Masaki says with a little pout.
Jun takes mercy on him. “Good,” he smiles nervously. “I mean, a typical first week, still a lot of new things to adapt. But I like the kids.”
“I’m surprised you decided to take a job at school,” Nino comments while he happily accepts the boxes with food Jun bought on his way home. “I thought you might rather stay in a hospital or a rehabilitation facility.”
Jun tilts his head. “That was my original plan,” he admits. “But once I was in my education, I realized I would rather be a counsellor than a therapist. And… school is where the problems start. Bullying, eating disorders, family problems.”
“Still,” Nino whines. “A public school, and one with such a bad social background.”
Jun smiles happily. “But schools like these have the biggest problems. I can help there.”
Nino frowns, glaring at Masaki. “Why don’t you say anything!? Talk him out of it!”
“Well, I think it’s a good idea,” Masaki points out with a smile. When Nino glares him, he coughs. “Which doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be careful, Jun-kun,” he carefully rephrases his statement. “You know, try out what you like to do, you have plenty of options now, everything lies in front of you.”
Jun smiles happily. For the first time ever he truly feels that way… like he has options. A future.
“Are you not eating with us?” Nino asks when Jun just switches his clothes and is ready to leave again.
Jun blushes. “Well…” he stutters.
Nino and Masaki exchange a glance, and Nino smiles. “Going out?”
Jun nods shyly, glad that none of them asks any questions. He jumps down the stairs, throwing his keys up into the sky.

I am less happy that he kind of doesn't want them to know who is is going to see. I hope it isn't Sho. (Aaaaaahhh I never thought I would ever write that sentence. Sorry Sakumoto.)

I'm also wondering how long it's been since the previous two drabbles (in chronological order).
Would love to make a guess about who he's seeing... but since I'm not sure about the timeline, I'll keep my guess to myself by now :P (although to me it seems kind of obvious, seeing all the past drabbles xDDDD)

I'm actually talking about #19 and #20 (the two previous ones according to the chronological timeline you have up there, and I should add #29 too, since it's already posted).

Well, "Open" is actually almost at the end of the whole timeline. So, it's a around 2 years after Jun and Ohno broke up. Whereas 19 and 20 are pretty much the same timeline, a bit after Jun and Ohno broke up and Sho returned.
basically my timeline for this is in sections: 1) Jun's childhood, 2) school 3) college, ending with Jun's almost suicide 4)Jun tries to recover and re-meets Ohno 5)Juntoshi breakup and Sho returns (inlcuding Jun finding his new career path and trying to be more independent 6) ending ^^

He seems happy and he's finally going out again. I'd like to make a guess who he's gonna be with but the odds are almost the same soooo... I'm just going to wait and see how it unfolds. :D

I'm so happy reading how happy Jun sound. Is he going out on a date (with a certain Satoshi? ^^) This must be very far into the future, with Jun working in a school instead of the hospital
